What a Strange Month It Has Been!

So much has happened over the last month! Everything as we know it has changed and we will certainly come out of this hopefully for the better.  But lets not even mention why things are the way they are.  I would just like to wish you all the best and let's see everyone get through this troubling time.

I have been working so much over the past few weeks I haven't got much hobby in.  What I have got in is something completely different and refreshing for me, Sci-Fi!

I am doing up a nice mix of models from Anvil Industry and Victoria Miniatures however I will not reveal yet what the models are primarily for but I will also be wanting to try out Zona Alfa.  I am also 3D printing a load of Modular Sci-Fi Terrain by Warlayer.

It is nice living in Australia and supporting a local manufacturer like Victoria Miniatures.  I have some really cool and interesting sculpts by them and I am most impressed with the quality.

I really enjoyed painting some of my Anvil Industry Zombies and they are perfect for a multitude of Genres from Modern to Sci-Fi.

Afghanistan Compound for 20mm Moderns

Adding to my 20mm Modern Warfare project is this 3D printed Afghanistan Compound by 3D Print Terrain.  This was available from one of their many kickstarters or can be purchased on their website.

I will be doing an article for Paint all the Minis that expands on how this compound came to what it is in these photos.  I will put up a link to the article once it is published on their website.

This thing is huge!

Frostgrave - Creating Felstad

I have been very busy 3D printing and painting terrain for Frostgrave.  The game is based around the Frozen City of Felstad which is in ruins and the snows have melted attracting adventurers.

All the images in this post contain 3D printed terrain and everything except the bases is printed.  I will start off with some post edited photos first to set the scene.

All of the scenery is from Thingiverse or Printable Scenery.  The Graveyard is a particular favorite of mine.  All the Graveyard components are from Printable Scenery.  I used some left over plasticard for the path and used a tree and centre tombstone from Thingiverse.

and mounted them to this now redundant technology

To cover the gap I immortalised some Warlord Games employees.  Each CD has a unique

This is only the start for the terrain I am creating for Felstad.  Make sure to follow me on twitter for updates!

Preparing for a Frostgrave Campaign

For those of you who have been following along on twitter, I have been busy with Frostgrave lately.  These are my latest offerings.  Two Soldiers Painted up for a future Warband, Three more Cultists completed, Three 3D Printed Treasure tokens and a piece of CD Terrain with 3D Printed trees.

More CD Terrain is in the works and I am printing off a load of ruins to make up a table! It's all happening.

I have a bit of a Frostgrave bug at the moment!

Stay tuned for more.

3D Printed Terrain Spanish Rural Buildings

I have finished painting up my 3D Print Terrain Italy/Spain Kickstarter Rural Buildings.  I have added some sand for texture to bring the buildings to life.  The walls I glued together in an L configuration.

I think they look great and they will be really handy for Peninsula War Campaigns and WW2 in Southern Europe.
