Warhammer Quest Snotlings

I love painting fantasy figures and Green Skins is something I haven't painted in a long long long time.  I must say I loved painting these little pests!  It was also great to use my Goblin Green pot of paint!

Continuing with the theme of basing for Warhammer Quest, I trimmed the extremely boring and ordinary looking pudding bases away and recycled some plastics to create a dungeon/ruins cross over effect.

I actually love the 1990s Citadel Miniatures Monopose era!  Each snotling has an individual paint job.  There are 4 variants of their loincloth and subtle variations in their clubs.

Warhammer Quest Rats

I love painting fantasy and it is such an awesome subject, definitely one of my favorites! I have painted up 12 more foes for Warhammer Quest.  These old School Games Workshop plastic rats are nice little sculpts.  They came on this horrible banana shaped pudding base which I have removed.

I have based them on Games Workshop 20mm bases and added some left over plasticard to make flagstones for that dungeon feel.

Warhammer Quest Giant Bats

Lets go back to 1995.  I was 15 and completely absorbed by the Games Workshop Hobby and in my opinion this was the peak period of Games Workshop.

One of their finest productions was the Original Warhammer Quest and I am blessed to have a copy.  I am painting up the figures and keeping that old look to them.  I have pimped their bases to make them far more interesting.

The bases the 12 Giant Bats come on were pretty horrible so I have put them on original Games Workshop 20mm Square bases and varied their stand height to break their monotony up.

I used some left over plasticard to create the tiles that the bats are mounted on.
