So you can see in my little table (view web version) I have acquired quite a few figures this year! This is largely thanks to a couple of kickstarters arriving and some Sales/offers that were just too good to say no to. I want to paint 500 figures this year and I am slightly below that target but determined to get it.
To help me get there I quickly pumped out 10 Mantic Games Skeletons. These will be used an NPCs or even as a Warband for Frostgrave! Great little skeletons however I am slightly in favour of the Old School Games Workshop Skeletons.
I am really loving the Winter Theme

Frozen Zombies by Mantic Games
The latest 20 Figures I have painted are some Zombies by Mantic Games. These have been themed for Frostgrave and anything else in a Frozen Wintery setting. These models are great and scale really nicely with Frostgrave miniatures. I have some plans for these lads which I am keeping under wraps at the moment.
I did a fairly quick job to get them ready for the table. I plan on killing lots of these guys so I didn't want to go too over the top with fancy details.
I really love the derpiness about these guys. Zombies should be made to look like they are suffering and these Zombies do exactly that.

The Walking Dead All Out War
As a massive fan of Robert Kirkman's Comic The Walking Dead and to a lesser extent AMC's The Walking Dead Television show it was natural that I back the Kickstarter for the Walking Dead All Out War by Mantic Games. For the record I liked the first season of Fear the Walking Dead but it got bad, really fast and I no longer watch it.
No spoilers here but the Comic book is VERY different to the TV Series and I prefer the story in the comics. The game Walking Dead All Out War follows the story line and characters in the Comic.
I have only painted a few figures for this game system so far however played a fair bit of it solo and in versus play. It is a very simple and fast game to play. In addition to the Kickstarter I have got the Retail Exclusives and the Prelude to Woodbury for solo play. I have painted the Prelude to Woodbury set, including the terrain however the terrain will be for a future post.
The figures a single piece plastics and are lovely. I have had most of these painted for about a year now.
